Great scrambled egg and gorgeous buttery toast this morning

at Castle Howard's wonderful little restaurant.

Someone special is a fairly regular visitors to the Woodhouse and like all good eating places you should really keep quiet about the place... but I know you can keep a secret.  

Great scrambled egg, friendly staff, nice facilities, just a lovely place to visit and with a simply amazing shop!!!

Very good scrambled egg on good bread in a great city centre cafe. 

Tomatoes on the vine were a great accompaniment.
Well worth a visit!!

Great scrambled egg on toast with delicious cherry tomatoes flavoured with oregano and spices!

BETTY'S AT HARLOW CARR!

The scrambled egg at Betty's usually comes on a toasted muffin but

I prefer my scrambled eggs on malted grain toast. 

The waitress happily agreed to do it this way and this is the result. The scrambled egg was a bit overcooked for my liking and the bacon not hot enough but great flavour and wonderful toast. A bit pricey here too but you get what you pay for in the service and atmosphere!
